For years I exorcised my demons by picturing them figuratively in this series I worked abstractly, picturing an abstract interior world of emotions navigating their way to healing and balanced living For 20 years I have viewed countless medical scans over my thirty four surgeries, and have realised that the internal images express more about my identity than the reflection of my face in the mirror after surgeries. Transitoriness and ephemerality best describe the character of these images in which the diseased cells which cause healthy tissues to act abnormally are restored on canvas to harmonious order.
